Little known Deep Purple classic, “Stormbringer”

“Cult of Personality” - Living Colour
Neon lights, nobel prize
When a mirror speaks
The reflection lies…
“Hard to See” - Five Finger Death Punch
Can’t explain what’s come over me
Can’t explain why it’s so hard for me
So hard to see your side.
“Dragonfly” - Shaman’s Harvest
I was listening to the radio the other day during some hour where they play obscure or local things you usually never hear again when they played this. I really enjoyed it and thankfully had enough foresight to listen for the band and song’s name. I then hunted this song down and here you go.
“In the Air Tonight” - Nonpoint (Phil Collins cover)
I really, really like this song, both original and cover versions.
I’m currently jamming to some of my favorite hard rock tunes, enjoying headbanging before I get my hair cut.
The music I listen to is not unlike my writing. It serves its purpose while I need it for that, whether it be venting an emotion, getting rid of energy, or just having fun. Music is limitless.
“Drift Away” - Dobie Gray
On my top five list of the greatest songs of all time, this classic has always pulled me through the times, good and bad.
I wanna get lost in your rock ‘n roll and drift away…
“Yesterday to Tomorrow” - Audioslave
When life comes alive the past moves aside
No regrets and no remorse

Apocalyptica - “Until It Sleeps”
The sheer emotion shown in this piece is astounding. If you enjoy the cello, or any music at all for that matter, I’d give this a listen. It is truly outstanding.

“Castles Made of Sand” - Jimi Hendrix
I grew up on classic rock, and it’s the songs like these that make me love life. Great sound laying a foundation for great meaning, music is better this way.
And so castles made of sand melt into the sea, eventually.
